Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the PropertyMetra app and website collect, why, and the control you have over it. We keep the app deliberately minimal, and this policy reflects that.

The short version. Browsing and searching properties needs no account and collects no personal data. If you choose to sign in — only to save properties — we store your email and name from Google or Apple, and the projects you save. We do not track you, show ads, use advertising identifiers, or sell data. You can delete your account and everything tied to it from inside the app at any time.

Who we are

PropertyMetra (“we”, “us”) operates the PropertyMetra iOS app and the website at propertymetra.com. For any privacy question, contact support@propertymetra.com.

What we collect

Nothing, to browse. Viewing and searching the property list requires no account and collects no personal information about you.
Account data, only if you sign in. Sign-in exists so you can save properties. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address from that provider and store them to identify your account. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, Apple gives us a private relay address instead of your real one — that is fully supported.
Your saved properties. The projects you save are stored against your account so they appear across your devices.
Basic technical logs. Like any website, our servers keep short-lived request logs (such as IP address and timestamp) for security and reliability. These are not used to build a profile of you.

What we do not do

No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, no advertising identifier (IDFA), no cross-app or cross-site tracking.
No selling or renting of your personal data to anyone, ever.
No collection of your contacts, photos, precise location, or health data.

Why we use it

Solely to provide the app’s features: to sign you in, to keep your saved properties, and to keep the service secure and working. That is the entire purpose.

Sign-in providers

We use Apple and Google only to authenticate you. Your use of those sign-in options is also governed by Apple’s and Google’s privacy policies. We never receive your password.

Property information

The property data in the app — projects, prices, payment plans, transaction figures — is compiled from public Dubai Land Department (DLD) records and third-party real-estate sources. It is information about properties, not about you, and each figure carries its source and a confidence level in the app.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time inside the app (Settings → Delete Account). Deletion permanently removes your account and your saved properties from our systems. You may also email support@propertymetra.com to request deletion.

Data location and security

Your data is stored on our servers and protected with industry-standard measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) transport. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect precisely so there is little to expose.

Children

PropertyMetra is intended for adults evaluating real estate and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account data. Account deletion is available directly in the app; for anything else, email support@propertymetra.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
